Success of ʺMypension.beʺ: already 1 million visitors

Yesterday the pension engine ʺMypension.beʺ counted one million visitors… only after three months.

Reminder: the site has been operational since 21st January 2016. Following the logic of administrative simplification it permits economically active persons to consult their career data and to find out their pension commencement dates. This platform is aimed at all economically active persons in the three pension schemes (civil servants, employees and self-employed persons).

The functionalities offered by ʺMypension.beʺ will be extended in future. As from the start of next year citizens will be able to receive an estimate of the amount of the state pension. At the end of 2017 they will have the opportunity to check the impact of certain career choices on their pensions, enabling them to make well-informed choices.

In addition to the state pension the pension engine will be complemented by a data bank on occupational pensions. The pension institutions will be required to transfer the data of their affiliates, thereby enabling any of their members to know exactly the amount of capital accumulated at any given time.
